"As a teacher, I aim to show the student how much music they actually, already
know, in order to make connections to new material. Like other languages, we
learn music through our experiences with it. We hear things and then we repeat
what we hear until we are eventually speaking our own thoughts and ideas. But,
the most important part is that MUSIC IS FUN! I want every person to walk away
from my classes and performances with that feeling.”
